This blog is about goalie Peter Fry's first two years in the Western Hockey League with the Portland Winter Hawks. It is designed to help other hockey players that are moving into Major Junior Hockey. Specifically 16 and 17 year olds. Through sharing his experiences, ups and downs, wins and losses you will be able to learn from both Peters successes and failures, good decisions and bad decisions. Rookie Camp - I don't even remember going to this.
I don't even remember going to this Rookie Camp. It was the one and only WHL or Junior rookie camp that I attended. I did not go to any other rookie camps or pre qualifying camps for any other junior teams.
